This tournament was run in a unique way. Both varsity and 1st team JV wrestlers were eligible to enter. It was a 16 man bracket. The 1st round winners went on to wrestle a normal 8 man bracket (A) and the 1st round losers when on to wrestle a separate normal 8 man bracket (B). Varsity wrestlers were in the main 16 man bracket tournament automatically, JV wrestlers were drawn in. Any wrestlers left over after the 16 did not get in the tournament but wrestled each other in a 'round robin'. They do it this way to give the JV wrestlers a chance to get in the 'varsity' tournament. This format paid off for Eastlake at 112, our Varsity and JV wrestlers (Dibello and Selk) faced each other in the finals.
